Reading an ultrasound photo involves identifying and interpreting the various structures visible on the image. The amniotic fluid appears anechoic (black), while the fetus and placenta appear echogenic (white or gray). The uterine wall and corpus luteum are also visible, along with the umbilical cord and yolk sac. The fetus is measured and evaluated for growth, while the placenta is assessed for its size and location. Abnormalities such as cysts or tumors may be detected.
